The mid-size Citation Sovereign, an 8-to-12-seat Cessna business jet, could attribute its popularity simply to versatility. Since 2004, more than 200 Sovereigns have taken to the air, and for good reason. The jet is capable of transcontinental flights, but is noted for its ability to take off and land in relatively tight spaces. It cannot claim the speed of the Citation X, but the Sovereign can land at many small- and mid-range airports that other large jets cannot reach.
