After a series of acquisitions by its parent company General Dynamics, Gulfstream came to own the Galaxy Business Jet. Renamed the G200, the mid-range jet is manufactured by Israel Aircraft Industries in Tel-Aviv. As of June 2008, 200 G200s had been completed and delivered, with NetJets as one of the biggest customers for the type. A new model, the G250, will be announced in October 2008, with improved runway and cruise performance over the previous model. The current G200 can be outfitted with an executive-style 8-passenger cabin, or as an 18 passenger shuttle.
